Distressed About Insurance Agents E&O?

Darwin offers professional liability coverage for wholesalers, surplus lines brokers, MGAs/MGUs, reinsurance intermediaries, and insurance agents. “Distressed.” “Complex.” “Non-standard.” We underwrite all types.

Darwin looks at individual account exposures to understand the true nature of the risk—not the “market classification” of the risk. Darwin can certainly underwrite an account without a history of claims. But, a scratch here or a dent there isn’t going to cause us to automatically turn away a good account.

With up to $5 million in capacity, Darwin offers both primary and excess coverage for firms that generate $5 million or more in gross written premium annually.

Nicole Haggerty, Darwin’s lead E&O underwriter for this segment, has more than twelve years’ experience in the industry. The majority of her career has been on the underwriting side of the business, where she has held senior underwriting and product development positions. Nicole has earned the Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) designation.

To discuss insurance agents and related account opportunities, please contact Nicole Haggerty at nhaggerty@darwinpro.com or 860-507-1108, or Joe Labieniec at jlabieniec@darwinpro.com or 860-507-1021.
